Technology

Every grating we manufacture is made up of several elements that, once they are combined into a single device, ensure the ultimate technical quality (panels, steps, mats).

The costs involved in a project depend on the following criteria:
Bearing Bar (BB)
Flat bar supporting the weight.
Transverse Bar (TB)
Structure ensuring the link among the bearing bars (BB).
These spacers are made of plain iron (pressed gratings), or crimped iron (press-welded gratings).
Span
Empty space among the legs supporting the extremities of the bearing bars.

Mesh

The bearing bars (BB) criss-cross the transverse bars (TB).
The mesh thus obtained has two characteristics: a part of it is empty, and another part is an intersection of bars.
Sealing / Safety mesh

The mesh is sealed through a 20 mm diameter ball.

The costs involved in a project also depend on:
- Treatment: black, galvanised
- Material: steel, stainless steel, aluminium, polyester
- Finishings: serrations, borders

Framing
External border of panels made of plain iron. There are two types of borders available:
• "T" border (pressed metal gratings only)
• "plain" border

Toerail
Plain iron toerails welded on the external part of the grating.
According to the height, this element is called "toerail" (exceeding upward) or "extension" (downward).

Serrations
We manufacture various types of serrations.
Single or double serrations: these types of finishing are adjustable according to the dimensions of the bearing bars and/or the transverse bars.
